When you begin to take responsibilities for your actions, you begin to take ownership for your life why? because we live by our actions. Taking responsibilities for your actions is one way to help you take control of your actions which is our life. Because we live by our actions, taking responsibilities for our actions cannot not be avoided. We all want to make great actions and to make great actions, you have to stop saying “if only they didn’t and start saying if only I didn’t.” Nobody wants to be seen as wrong because of the feeling of guilt and shame. Apart from the fact that we don’t want to be in shame, we want to be known as always right and that’s why we fail to take responsibilities for our action. We find it easy to blame others for our actions because we don’t want to take responsibilities. You are not doing yourself any favour when blaming others for your actions. When you blame others for your action, you are at a loss. We blame others for our actions too so as not to be seen as not doing enough or not doing great. If you knew the disadvantages of not taking responsibilities for your actions, I bet you would start taking responsibilities for your actions.
Two actions to always take responsibilities for
- When you knew and did it
- When you didn’t know and did it
The first point is always difficult to escape not to take responsibilities for your actions but the second point is mostly used as an excuse to be wayward and also escape from taking responsibilities for our actions. It is when we take responsibilities for our actions in the second point that we really make obvious great actions.
Disadvantages of not taking responsibilities for your actions
You will lose the opportunity to make a great obvious action, you will lose to grow in every aspect of your life. You might think you are actually doing yourself a favour when you blame others because you are escaping being at fault and not taking responsibilities. But in reality, you are your own enemy. You are betraying yourself.
Advantages of taking responsibilities for your actions
Taking responsibilities for your actions will gain you a good reputation and respect. Like I wrote earlier, you will make great actions. When you begin to start saying if only I did instead of if only they didn’t, you will have complete ownership of your life. You will learn, grow and be a better person.
